The Next Generation of Mobile Contamination Control.
In order to respond to modern threats, civil support teams need cutting-edge equipment.
LIDS CST was specifically designed and engineered to provide Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Teams (WMD-CST) with an efficient and cost-effective decontamination environment. With state-of-the-art engineering and an exceptional list of features, LIDS provides complete Contamination Control Area (CCA) decontamination capability for CST personnel using level A, B, and C Hazmat Suits.
The LIDS CST is a custom designed Tactical Decon Kit, designed to be integrated with existing CST support equipment including heating and cooling systems, plumbing connections, electrical systems, test equipment and other mission-essential equipment.
Main features of LIDS CST:
- Fast In-Field Setup and Exceptional Logistics Improvements
- Shorter Technician Training Periods
- USAF Air Warfare Center Tested
- Approved by Department of Defense
Efficient application provides for a safer site, and LIDS CST can be quickly and easily set up on all improved and unapproved surfaces. It’s designed to use minimal manpower, which can improve civil support team efficiency significantly in many applications.
Faster Setup and a Smaller Unit Response Footprint
The second generation of LIDS CST provides a quantum leap forward in decontamination system capability during the CST CCA Process. Building on the unmatched quality, modularity, and flexibility of the original, Wel-Fab, Inc. worked closely with numerous CST units to develop the most advanced and easy-to-use personnel decontamination system on the market.
The LIDS decontamination system provides unparalleled logistic improvements, including a smaller unit response footprint, shorten technician-training time, reduced setup/breakdown times, and the fastest possible relocation times through a diverse set of emergency response conditions. It is optimized for all types of CST field operations, independently tested and validated by the USAF Air Warfare Center and approved for use by the Department of Defense Joint Program Executive Office (JPEO) for Chemical and Biological Defense.
LIDS lightweight design was also proven to significantly reduce the technician thermal burden typically associated with the setup and operation of decontamination systems.
