WEAPON CONTAINERS
The container is manufactured from .190
inch thick aluminum and designed to securely store forty (40) M-16 or
M-4 weapons. The 36 inch door has a reinforced lockable flange with two
3/8 inch diameter holes to lock the container doors. It has a two heavy
duty hinges to aid in the security of the container. Four M12 Weapons
Racks are securely mounted inside the container. The racks are all aluminum
construction, lightweight, and rust resistant. The container has two shelves
that can be attached to the outside short end of the container to allow
personnel to a place to perform minor maintenance and certified personnel
to the issue weapons The container is sling able and four way forklift
able. It is designed to fit perfectly inside the usable space of the 463L
pallet. The container has eight (4) lower tie down rings secured to the
bottom corners for sling, and (8) mounted to the lid mounted for securing
down the container to a 463L pallet The lid has four (4) locking brackets
that positively secure stacked containers. Each container has four
10” forklift tubes that allows access to all sides for easy transport.
The container has a 36’ wide door which allows easy loading
and access to the weapons and hazardous materials during in-flight emergencies.
